Calling All Titus 2 Women

I am in the early stages of writing a sequel to my book "Worth More Than Rubies: The Value of a Work At Home Mum" which was based on the Proverbs 31 Woman. I'd written a blog on this topic through 2006 and at the end of the study of that famous chapter in the bible I'd come to the conclusion that I was actually a Titus 2 Woman - someone who is guiding and mentoring our younger women, our daughters, God's daughters, in this world. The responses I've received to that blog and to my book is further proof of this realisation.

In that vein, I'd love to hear from women who spend their time guiding and mentoring other women, teaching and showing them God's ways through their lives, their ministries, and whatever else is going on in their lives. I want your story!

I wish to interview several women who have an understanding of what it means to be a Titus 2 Woman and how it has been applied in their lives - whether by design (their's, not God's) or accident (their's, not God's). In other words, they can look back and see that God has had a hand on the direction in their lives and they may, or may not, have been aware of it and travelled that path anyway.

Please leave a comment here if you'd like to know more or you can find my contact details in my profile.

This sounds like a wonderful idea, Kathie. You are a visionary in many ways.

Thanks Eileen - I have so many ideas I wonder where to find the time to get them done sometimes! But I expect if it's God's will then it will all happen according to His timing anyway. I just keep plugging along!

I'm trying to mentor through my artists resource blog and through articles and other resources.

I am always trying to encourage artists to sell their work because so many of us were told that making a living as an artist is not possible. I am here to say that it is in many, many ways!

There is also a lot of value in a woman who works outside the home and earns money through a job or career. And if her husband dies or becomes disabled and can't work, she is very capable of supporting her family and putting food on the table. God bless these women who work outside the home!

Don't know if you are still looking, but I would be interested. I am always trying to find my way on this path of life of mine. I am co-founder of a women's retreat ministry in my church, a trained labyrinth facilitator and about to have my first book published. Do you think I could be of help?

just did some research on the Titus 2 woman. Maybe I am a bit too "modern' for this. I am one of those older women (62) but I have a more forward thinking mind. Thank goodness God gave that to me. I believe that the Holy Spirit leads me in all I do and my relationship with God and His Son Jesus is of utmost importance to me. Yet, all this submissiveness is way behind me. I believe that God calls us equal in all things and wants us to follow him just as he would call a man to follow him.

Hi,my name is Magdalena, and I just wanted to share that in our lives we have been on the potter's wheel since birth, sometimes many of us have to return to the wheel several times through out time. Not to say that we ever keep clear from that wheel, because every day we are learning, every day is a new birth; new mindset and as we go through our seasons, sometimes our cisterns are cracked, sometimes they are shattered and God continues to crush us to remold us back to His design. I have found in my life experiences, that I have been on the Potter's wheel many many times and I honestly invite it because it transforms me to where He wants me to be, not what I want to be. My experiences has given me the ability to counsel our teen, being that I was a teen mother and wife at the age of 14yrs old. I counsel the singel mom'for I was a single mom after 13yrs of marriage, I counsel those who don't know their worth, because I was able to find my worth in God through my brokenness, I counsel the married woman as God has joined me with my husband and as I have learned to be a Godly wife, I share my experiences with them and so much more. I know that all my trials came attached with my purpose and destiny and today, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love Jesus with all my heart and although we are not perfect, but I strive to be...I have a yahoo blog called W.O.R.T.H. Ministry for Women although some men might join in..lol. the acronyms stand for Women of Righteousness Through Him. The Lord had given me the vision of sharing my life with other through the form of a book, and I have started it 1yr ago, but have not continued. I pray that He gives me the strength to do so...thank you for your post....God bless you

Ah, a like-hearted woman--passionate for Jesus and all things mentoring. If a single woman with no natural children but plenty of mentoring experience can help, I'm willing. Would enjoy connecting with you...I'm an author of a mentoring program and director of a mentoring ministry.

It's funny how God speaks to us, isn't it? I have considered myself a Titus 2 woman for a long time. In fact, recently the Lord has allowed me to not only be a mentor for other women, but to teach them as well. I would be honored if you wanted more info about me.
